A pro bono website that updates itself from Eventbrite and Instagram
We built this site for free for a non-profit that helps Latinos find opportunities in Canada. It pulls events from Eventbrite and posts from Instagram automatically, so the team never has to update it by hand.

About NotWorking to Networking and the challenge
The client
NotWorking to Networking is a community of Latin American professionals in Toronto that runs industry meetups online and in person. Its volunteers already used Eventbrite, Instagram and online forms.
The challenge
Information everywhere
Events, posts and forms lived on different platforms.
Volunteer time
Nobody had time to keep a website updated by hand.
Signature feature
A website
that updates itself.
The team keeps publishing where they always have. The website listens to Eventbrite and Instagram and brings everything together in one place, automatically.
Our approach
From diagnosis
to transformation.
- 1
Detect
A community with great content and no single place to find it.
- 2
Analyze
The tools the team already used and loved.
- 3
Build
A website connected to the Eventbrite and Instagram APIs, with quick links to their existing forms, built pro bono.
- 4
Transform
One place with everything, always up to date, with no extra work for the team.
Results
- New events appear on the site as soon as they are published on Eventbrite.
- Instagram posts show up on the site automatically.
- Volunteers keep using the tools they know, and the site stays current on its own.
Built for free, because this community opens doors for newcomers.
